PYTHON REMOVAL COMPETITION RULES
Participants in the Python Removal Competition are expected to register online, complete the online training module, and have read all rules prior to registration. Every participant, including all registered team members must follow all general rules and area rules specific to the property participants are accessing to remove pythons. These rules are designed to align with area regulations and to ensure the safety of each participant and the environmental resources of the participating public lands.

Registered participants may remove Burmese pythons from the following participating areas:
- Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area
- Holey Land Wildlife Management Area
- Rotenberger Wildlife Management Area
- Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area (Jan 16-Feb 1 only)
- Picayune Strand Wildlife Management Area/State Forest
- Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
- Collier-Seminole State Park
- Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park
- Southern Glades Wildlife and Environmental Area/Python Challenge Area
- Frog Pond Small Game Area/Python Challenge Area
- Rocky Glades Small Game Area/Python Challenge Area
- Everglades National Park*
